Been so long since writing anything.  Am turning two on Saturday and looking forward to eating all my truck cake.. or maybe just the lollies!!!

So much has happened in my two years. A trip to Iceland for Xmas 2006 to see the family.  The the family coming over here for Xmas 2007.  Have learnt to walk, and talk heaps.

In about three months I will be a big brother, apparently it will be a little girl, at least that means I don't have to share my boy toys, like cars and trucks with her.

MMmmm what else has happened, well look at the pics and you can basically get the drift as to what has happened since last writing on this webpage.... better get back to my cars, and cows moooooooooo!!!! 

Well I just had my four monthly check up and I have grown a little.  I am now 65.5cm (1.5cm in two months) and my head is now 44.5cm (still a boofer) and i am 6.8kgs.  All else is healthy and I am growing well.  My interest in the world is increasing and I love all my colourful toys and books.

Got my four monthly injections today and boy did they hurt but i was brave and only cried a little.  I also got feed some baby rice mmmmmmmm love food.  I ate it all up, at first it was a little strange this mushy food but once I figured out that you move you mouth around and make strange faces, it will go down to my belly.  Now I love to have my bowl of baby rice at night when Mummy and Daddy are having their meals....

Not long until I head off to Iceland either.  Mummy and Daddy are coming with me.  It is about two and a bit weeks to go and i will meet my uncles, aunties, grandparents and new firends.  It shall be good.  also i can make new friends with Mummy's best friends (Gudbjorg) kids Arnar and Petur.  Shall be great fun, cold but fun.  Anyways better get some sleep am getting weighed tomorrow and looking at homes as we are buying one.  Then mothers group is on.  Busy Busy and hot (33 degress tomorrow)

Hi there, its the three month mark and mum has just been for her check up.  While we were there I got measured, weighed, poked and proded.  My head is now 44 cm, length is 64 cm and weight is 6.415kgs.  Am all healthy.

I have also learnt to laugh but only when Daddy pulls silly faces or Mummy makes silly noises.  I also enjoy sleeping, playing with my toys and laying on my belly.. These activities are so much fun.  I have also recieved the Wiggles dvd and that is so much fun to watch as Mummy dances with them particularly the monkey dance or hot potato.

Am now two months old and growing heaps.  I am over 6kgs and am 61cm in length.  My achievement was to be able to hold me head off the ground and roll over.  It shocked me at the start but now i am getting the idea of it and enjoying rolling.  I also can smile heaps too especially when mummy is talking to me or allowing some nudy time.  Even when i pee over everything lol

Its now the four week mark and I have been to see the maternal health nurse.  I am now 5.22kg and 58.5cm in length.  My head of course has gown to 41.2cm, so I am becoming a big boy.  All is well in my health and I even impressed the nurse by laying on my stomach and rolling over.  I also am sleeping through most nights to give Mum a rest, as she doesn't get much during the day since I am so alert and observing everything.

We have also booked our flight to Iceland, so I will get to meet my family from my Dad's side.  It shall be good!!! Mum and Dad are looking forward to it.  We will be in Iceland on the 19th of December for just over two weeks, so plenty of time to explore.

Well I am three weeks old now and causing mum stress.  Don't seem to want to keep down my milk but I do want to eat heaps.  Maybe it is too much.  Ohh well, Mummy had to take me to the hospital where I was tested.  I even got to pee all over Mummy while they were collecting my urine sample lol

Test results were fine.  I just have reflux as I eat too much and too fast, that would teach me.  I am gaining heaps of weight and am gaining above average, so big boy I am!!!!

Well three week mark is approaching.  I have been fairly good for Mum and Dad, just occassional crying fits which is normally due to gas.  Apart from that I am feed reguarly and letting Mum rest heaps.  I am enjoying all the wonderful toys Aunt Beccy brought as they make so much noise which entertains me.  My eyes are slowly turning brown and and I enjoy starring at Mum, Dad and the tv for a few hours a day.

Home I go today.  I get to meet my dog Nakita, who was very excited to meet me, but i think more excited to see Mum.  Nana and Grandpa visited today and I had plenty of cuddles.

After a long day for my mum, i am finally here by emergency c section.

Mum went to hospital at 7 in the morning to be induced, after 4 hrs they inserted the drip to bring on labour.  I had been causing her back pain from the night before and the continued.  At about 4pm, Nana came to see how mum was and give dad a break from the hospital.  The back pain at this stage had increased.

At dinner time, Mum's waters broke while at the toilet, so now mess to clean up.   This is when she requested some pain relief.  Dad helped by rubbing her back and cooling her down with wet clothes.  She then got an epidural which caused a bad reaction and she lost all feeling in her body as it took effect too quickly.  That made the hospital staff very concerned, so they called for Dr McLennan.  In the meantime, Mum's blood pressure went down and so did my heart beat. 

Dr McLennan came and checked on Mum and she was only 3cm dilated so the opted for a c section.  They prepared her and got her down to surgery.  AT 10:07pm I was born (a big boy), weighing 9pounds 14 ozs (4.5kg).  I was 55.5cm long and well put it this way i have a big head and wasn't able to come out naturally, with my head being 39.5cm (bigger than average).

All is well now, I am feeding from Mum and getting heaps of cuddles from everyone.

Saw Dr Mclennan and am going to be brought into the world tomorrow. 

It's time, yet nothing is happening.  Still warm inside mum's belly waiting to come out into the world.  Planning on making a late entrance, seems to be in the Hemphill genes.

Mum is quite plump now and complaining non stop.  If I do plan on coming out soon, it would be only to shut her up.  But it is any day now and as soon as i make my entrance be sure to find adorable pictures of me all over this website.
