Hello!!!

Finally i get a second to sit down and write something!!  

Everythig is good here in chilly iceland, Aþena has been sick had a fever and earinfection but is getting better :)  I´ve been very busy at school and should be studying right now but i have to keep u all up to date hehe.   Our au pair Carole is flying in tonight and we are all really excited to meet her, it will be great to have her to help with things and Aþena couse my grandmother is getting too old to be coming here every morning to help me, even though i know she doesn´t mind doing it. Aþena is getting so big and has grown out of most of her chlothes so i have to go shopping very soon haha!! She started waving hello and goodbye and looks so cute when she does it. Aþena has her 8 month checkup next week so i will write more then;)

Hello!!

How fast these things happen!!! Atena has two teeth since the last time i wrote and it's only been a couple of days!!!  She is getting used to the heat and is generally very happy and looks like she is really enjoying spending time with her daddy.  She is so much closer to sitting by herself now that i am shure it will happen within the next two weeks, she is semi crawling or kind of pulling herself forward on her belly and definetly knows what she wants;)

Hello!!!

Well we are back in London now!! arrived yesterday and not leaving until the end of summer!!:)

I took atena for her five and six month checkup the other day and she now weighs 6765 grams and is 64'7 cm long. She got vaccinated for meningitis,tetanus polio and Hib.

The plain ride over here was pretty funny atena hardly slept at all and just wanted to play and blow rasberrys hehe.   She is so close to sitting by herself and crawling so daddy should be able to witness a couple of firsts:)   She still hasn`t gotten used to the heat and finds it a bit uncofortable but i`m shure she will be ok in a few days.

I am so bad at this!!!

Finally i can write again.... the little angel is great.. so much going on with her now ..started eating babyfood... trying to crawl..rolling from back to belly.  Sooo talented hihi ;)    Last time we went for weighing she was  around 13 pounds  63 cm very long indeed!!   I am putting in some pictures and we are coming to london probably on the 10 july and will be staying until late august!! So fun fun fun!!!  :)

Hello!!!

Finally i write again....

Aþena has grown so much these last weeks :)  Last time we went to see the baby nurse she weighed 5050 grams and was 59 cm.   She went to see her daddy last month so at 3 months old she had her first overseas flight, we also went to see the grandparents in Newbury for easter and were almost spoiled to death there hihi.   She has taken up drooling and is aming for it to be an olympic sport i think....  also as you can see on the pictures she can now pick up things and moves them from one hand to the other:)  Last month she also discovered she had feet and seems to find them extremely tasty as they are constantly in her mouth at any given chance;)  So a good eventful month i must say....

Hello there!!

Aþena had her 9 week visit with the babynurse yesterday. She now weighs 4560 grams and is 56,5 cm.  The nurse was really happy with her progress.  She is so funny these days couse she just discovered her hands and fingers and spends most part of the day crosseyed looking at them:)  I got her passport yesterday and it is definetly the funniest thing i have ever seen, she looks nothing like herself on the picture. Now it is only one week and counting until we finally get to see daddy!!!   It´s been sooo long...

Hi there!!

Aþena had her picture taken today for her passport, yes baby´s need there own passports these days i don´t get it either!!!   Anyways,  i wasn´t shure i´d ever get these pictures taken couse as soon as we were in the car Aþena fell asleep and when we got to the photography place she was so fast asleep i couldn´t wake her up, it took me almost a half hour to wake her up haha no matter what i did she just pouted and kept on sleeping.:)

Finally she woke up so now we have her passport coming in a few days and then we´re ready to come to visit JIbby!!!!

Can´t wait!!!!

As you can see i moved the site so you would have easyer access and perhaps understand anything that it says;)

I still have the other one as well but i will be writing in icelandic there and will be putting all the same pictures here as there so in the future you can look at this one.

Everything is going very well, Aþena finally started gaining weight and last time she was 4.200 grams.  She has started babling a littlebit and sometimes if she gets very excited she will scream. We are coming to london on the 26 of march and i am looking so much forward to that!!!!  Stephen hasn´t seen her since she was 2 days old so it is about time.
