Hello.  This is Starri's mum writing the first weblog on his site.  Starri has been really busy at school and other activities this week.  He goes to soccer in the Clear Water Bay Country Club on Monday afternoons and swimming on Tuesday afternoons and then he does guitar lessons on Fridays.  In his mind this leaves very little time to do all the things that boys need to do at their house, especially when he is expected quite often to help his father messing with the engine of our boat.  But he enjoys this and knows that in the summer he will go back one more time to Iceland where he will be staying with his grandparents for more than two months this year. 

Today Starri got a letter from his friend Nicholas who moved to Atlanta two months ago.  They were really close friends and a bit sad to have to seperate, but they promised to meet up in the summer, most likely in Iceland.  In the letter, Nicholas asked something like if Starri had forgotten him and now was only playing with his other friend at shcool, but Starri looked at me with a big surprise and said "of course not, how could I ever forget him- he will always be my best friend".  So Nicholas if you reed this, Starri is definately looking forward to meet you as soon as you both can. 

Starri is currently waiting for his grandparents to come back from Australia where they are visiting Bjarki and Silvija. They arrive on Sunday and my feeling is that there will be a lot scheduled for them to do with the children - scheduled by the children..
